Paalkova

Hi friends another sweet for diwali... Paal kova tastes rich and yummy but you need lots of patience to make paalkova in traditional way you have stir it for hours.
But the final result will just awesome when you taste it.

I used cow's milk bought directly from farm so it doesn't contain a drop of water so tastes same as  srivilliputhur paalkova.
Srivilliputhur is very famous for paalkova in tamilnadu.

Hope you too love it and give it a try also don't forget to share your experience with me.

Preparation time:2minutes
Cooking time:1hour
Makes:1.5cup

Ingredients:

Milk 1.25 litres(5cups approximately)
Sugar 1/3cup

Method:

Boil milk in a heavy bottomed kadai.
Boil it in medium high flame and stir it often to avoid burning at the bottom.
It will reduce to half and color changes to pale.
You have to stir every now and then.
At one stage it will become thick and starts to leave its sides. Now add in sugar and mix well. Again it will become gooey and it will become a whole mass within few minutes.
Switch off the flame once it starts to leave its sides. Transfer to bowl.

Stepwise picture:
Boil milk in a heavy bottomed kadai.
Once it's starts to boil, stir it every now and then to avoid burning at bottom.
See it will reduce to half. Scratch the sides often.
See how thick now. It will become grainy texture.stir it using whisk to avoid burning.
Now it starts leaving its sides and became a whole mass.
Add in sugar.
It will become gooey again.
It will become a whole mass and starts to leave its sides.
Transfer to a bowl.
Stay tuned for upcoming recipes. Bye bye.
