Ragi puttu/Breakfast for fussy toddlers

Sindhuraj     16:50:00     breakfast, Kitchen Special, ragi, toddlers recipe     No comments

Hi friends,Today I cooked ragi puttu for my fussy toddler. She looked it as well. I was in search of healthy as well as tasty food for my little one. Making a kid to eat is not a easy job,so many moms were hunting recipes for their fussy toddler like me hence I am sharing this recipe here.

Ragi is rich in iron and calcium. Ragi is a ideal food to wean a baby. Ragi is rich in protein and fiber so it's very filling. Ragi causes constipation for few kids/babies so consult pediatrician before introducing new foods.

Hope you'll love it and give it a try also don't forget to share your experience with me. Feel free to comment.

Preparation time:5minutes
Cooking time:10minutes
Serves:2

Ingredients:
  • Ragi flour 1cup
  • Grated coconut as needed
  • Organic powdered jaggery as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Water around 1/4cup(should be warm)

Method:
In a mixing bowl, add in a cup of roasted ragi flour, salt and mix it well. Add in warm water little by little and mix it well. The flour should be like wet and breadcrumbs. When you hold it in palm and give little pressure it should a shape and when you crumble it should again become like wet breadcrumbs. Check pictures below for of you need more clarification. Take puttu maker and place the perforated disc in it and start to fill ragi flour mix, grated coconut, organic powdered jaggery alternatively till it reaches the rim. Boil water in puttu maker pot and when it reaches rolling boil place the puttu maker over it and close its lid. Within few minutes you could see the steam comes from the lid's hole this is how you could know whether it gets cooked. Serve it along bananas.

Potato is my favourite. I used to cook many potato recipes often. This is one of the easy recipe. Only few ingredients you need.

I had done this without peeling potatoes skin, you can also peel its skin and use it. I think skin of potatoes might give more taste but make sure you wash it well before cooking.

Hope you'll love it and give it a try also don't forget to share your experience with me. Feel free to comment.

Preparation time:10minutes
Cooking time:15minutes

Serve with rice and any of your favourite gravy.

Hey friends, today's recipe is PIZZA that too WITHOUT YEAST and WITHOUT OVEN. When I saw this recipe while surfing net got into action without any idea as I had everything already in my pantry.

Pizza tastes so good you can't find any difference that it was really made in pressure cooker or oven. Pizza which I made was vanished within minutes.
