Remedies for Acidity

    Acidity may cause for many peoples. Acidity is one of the gas formation in stomach and heart bum. The acidity may cause due to excessive use of the oily and spicy foods it also may cause of irregular eating habits, sleeping just after taking meal, carbonated drinks, constipation, foods which are rich in fats and depression.  During acidity the common symptoms may cause like pain in upper abdomen immediately, vomiting, nausea, bloating and heartbum or sour belching. Here I'm giving some natural home remedies which I have tested and got good results.

Home remedies for acidity:

* To relief from the high acidity  take tender coconut water, take this 100- 500 ml twice a day. This is the best quick relieve from acidity.



*  Take the powdered dry amla (Indian gooseberry) of 3-6 g should be taken with 100 to 250 ml of water twice a day. To prepare the dry amla , cut the fresh amla into small piece and keep it under the sun to dry. This has a rich source of vitamin C to heal the brushed stomach and helps relief from acidity.


* To get relief from the high reflux of the acid mix gruel of rice corn, raw sugar and honey in equal quantity of 100-200g should be taken twice a day. This will full the stomach and will protect from acidity.

* Instead of tea or coffee prepare a decoction of equal parts of dried ginger, fruit of coriander and leaf of snakeguard of 14-28 ml should be taken twice a day, keep that in mind don't boil the sugar when mixing sugar.


* Drink coriander and cumin tea, it helps to cure from indegistion or overloading of stomach in late night.



* mix 2 tea spoon of ghee in glassful of milk and taking this once a day acts as a liner inside and will heal all the destruction caused by the high flow of pitta.

* Take 2 tbsp honey with two tablespoon of natural cidar vinegar before meal.


* Mint juice or mint capsules containing peppermint oil are also a good herbal remedy for treating acidity. It should taken after meal, it reduces gas formation.

* Fruits that will help you in getting relief from acidity are cucumber, watermelon, papaya and banana.
