Dryfruits ragi milkshake

Sindhuraj     07:41:00     dry fruits, milkshakes, ragi, snacks, toddlers recipe     No comments

Dry fruits ragi milkshake sounds more healthy than chocolate ragi milkshake. When I start to make chocolate ragi milkshake like yesterday, then I thought of adding dry fruits powder which is more healthy option.

Recipe are same as chocolate ragi milkshake everything comes same but skip cocoa powder and add in dry fruits powder. So healthy milkshake. Now this can be given daily to your kid without any guilt.

Hope you'll love it and give it a try also don't forget to share your experience with me. Feel free to comment.

Preparation time:5minutes
Cooking time:10minutes
Serves:3

Ingredients:
  • Ragi flour 2tablespoon
  • Dry fruits powder 1. 5tablespoon
  • Water 1/2cup
  • Chilled milk 2cups
  • Sugar/organic powdered jaggery to taste

Method:
Take ragi flour and water in small pan and mix it well without any lumps. Heat it up and stir well to avoid lumps formation. Once it gets cooked and become thick switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
In a blender, add in milk, ragi mixture, dry fruits powder, powdered jaggery and blend it till it everything gets mixed well. Serve chilled.

Stepwise pictures:
Take ragi flour in a small pan.
Add in water and mix it well without any lumps.
Cook this in a low flame.
Once it gets cooked and thickened, swtich off the flame and allow it to cool.
In a blender add in chilled milk.
Add in ragi mixture.

Add in dry fruits powder.

Add in organic jaggery powder.
Blend it till everything gets mixed well.

Pour it in a glass and serve chilled.

Notes:

  • You can use sugar as well. I added organic jaggery powder as I am giving this to my fussy toddler for healthy lifestyle.
  • You can also use leftover ragi porridge.
  • I didn't use any ice cream for this milkshake to make it healthy option. If you wish you can add cream/ice cream to make it rich and tasty.

Stay tuned for upcoming recipes. Bye bye.
