Hello my sweet readers it's time to know about salna which tastes grate with all types of rotis,chapati especially for parota.
This is my favorite has lots of spices,veggies and yummy too. At the end you see the oil floats on gravy like the restaurant salna. Hope you will try and let me know your results.

Ingredients:
For masala:
Oil 1tablespoon
Fennel seeds/sombu 1/2 tablespoon
Cumin seeds/jeera/seeragam 1/2teaspoon
Clove/krambu 2
Cinnamon/pattai 1 small piece
Cardamom/elakai 2
Jaathikai 1/8teaspoon grated
Onion 1medium sized chopped
Tomato 1large sized chopped
Coconut 1/4cup grated
Coriander leaves 1/2cup
Garlic 3cloves chopped
Ginger an inch sized peeled and chopped

Jaathikai 1/8teaspoon grated
Onion 1medium sized chopped
Tomato 1large sized chopped
Coconut 1/4cup grated
Coriander leaves 1/2cup
Garlic 3cloves chopped
Ginger an inch sized peeled and chopped
For gravy:
Oil 1tablespoon
Curry leaves few strands
Green chilli 1slited
Mixed veggies 3/4cup(I used carrot,beans,carrot,cauliflower)
Salt to taste
Sugar 1/2teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1teaspoon
Coriander powder 1/2tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1/2teaspoon
Cumin powder 1/2teaspoon
Garam masala 1teaspoon
Oil 1tablespoon
Curry leaves few strands
Green chilli 1slited
Mixed veggies 3/4cup(I used carrot,beans,carrot,cauliflower)
Salt to taste
Sugar 1/2teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1teaspoon
Coriander powder 1/2tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1/2teaspoon
Cumin powder 1/2teaspoon
Garam masala 1teaspoon
Method:
Heat oil in a pan add whole spices let it splutter.
Add in onions and saute till it turns translucent.
Add in ginger and garlic,saute for a minute.
Add tomatoes and saute till turns mushy.
Add grated coconut and saute for a minute.
Add coriander leaves and saute till leaves wilts.
Remove to the plate and allow it to cool and grind it to a paste.
Now take a pressure cooker and heat a tablespoon of oil.
Add curry leaves and ground masala. saute till oil separate from it.
Add green chilli and give stir now add spice powder.
Mix it well. Add in mixed veggies and give a quick stir.
Finally add salt and sugar mix it well and add little water.
Bring it to boil and cook for 1whistle.
Let the steam go by itself.
Serve it with any chapati or parota.
