Eggless Custard powder cookies without oven

Thanks!!! Thanks!!! Thanks!!! for all your messages and support. Many of you requested more baking recipes without oven. I'm sure I'll post many baking recipes often.

Today's recipe is custard powder cookies. It needs only a handful ingredients. Its simple recipe even beginners can bake this that too without oven.

Preparation time:10 minutes
Baking time:15-20minutes
Makes:10

Ingredients:


  • Whole wheat flour 1cup
  • Custard powder 1/4cup
  • Sugar 1/2cup powdered
  • Melted ghee1/4cup
  • Vanilla essence 1/2teaspoon
  • Baking powder 1/2teaspoon
  • Baking soda 1/4teaspoon

Method:

Preheat pressure cooker for 10 minutes in high flame.For more details click here.
In a mixing bowl, add in flour,custard powder,powdered sugar,bakingpowder,baking soda. Mix it well. In another bowl,add in melted ghee,vanilla essence and mix it well.
Add in dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Mix it well and form a dough.
Take a tablespoon of dough roll it into a ball and flatten it using your palm. Arrange this in oil greased pan/plate.
Bake this in low fame for 15-20minutes or till the base of cookies turns golden brown.
Allow it to cool. Have a tasty cookies.

Add in custard powder.
Add in baking powder and baking soda.
Add in powdered sugar.
Mix it well and set aside.
In another mixing bowl,add in melted ghee and vanilla essence.
Add in dry ingredients.
Mix well and form a dough.
Roll a tablespoon of dough into ball and flatten it using your palm. I used knife to make some stripes. Arrange this in a oil greased pan/plate.
Bake this in low flame for 15-20minutes.
Or bake till the base of cookies turns golden brown. Allow it to cool.

Notes:

  • I used vanilla flavoured custard powder. You can use any.
  • If your dough is too dry add in a tablespoon of milk or as needed.
  • I powdered regular sugar and used here.
