This my favourite modak because my mom used to do this every vinayagar chathurthi. In childhood days, I used to help my mom for stuffing the poornam
This is one of the easiest modak recipe because you don't need to cook anything for poornam just grind it and stuff it.
Preparation time: 10 minutes.

Ingredients:
Rice flour/pacharisi maavu 3/4cup
Salt to taste
Oil 1/4teaspoon
Water as required

Stuffing/poornam:
Roased gram 1/2cup
Sugar 3tablespoon
Cardamom 1pod
Coconut 1/3cup grated
Sugar 3tablespoon
Cardamom 1pod
Coconut 1/3cup grated
Method:
Take blender, add in roasted gram, sugar,cardamom and blend it to a powder.
Take this in a mixing bowl and add in coconut and mix well. Set aside.
Boil water add in salt and oil.
When it reach hand bearable heat add to rice flour and mix it well to form a soft dough.
Either use your hand or modak mold and stuff it.
Steam it in a steamer and serve it for Lord Ganesha.
Finally it's your time to taste the modak

If you use your hand,grease your hands and flattened the dough.
