Poha ladoo/Aval ladoo

This is time to enjoy ladoos. I used to make varieties of ladoos often so stay tuned for upcoming ladoos recipes.


Aval ladoo is so tasty just give it a try also it's very simple recipe. Kids will love it so you can give them as a evening time snacks. This keeps good for a week if you stored in airtight container.

Preparation time: 5minutes
Cooking time:10minutes
Makes:11ladoos


Ingredients:

Poha/Aval 3/4cup
Roasted gram/pottukadalai 1/4cup
Cardamom 1or2
Sugar 1/3cup
Ghee 1/4cup
Cashew 1/2teaspoon broken
Raisins 1teaspoon


Method:

Dry roast Poha in low flame for 5minutes without changing its color. Remove to the plate and allow it to cool.
Dry roast roasted gram in low flame for 2minutes. Remove to a plate and allow it to cool.
Take Poha and roasted gram in blender.
Add in cardamom.
Add-in sugar.
Blend it to powder and take this in a mixing bowl.
Heat ghee add this to mixing bowl. In a same pan add a teaspoon of ghee and add cashews. Saute till it turns golden. Add this in mixing bowl.
To the same ghee add raisins and saute till it bubbles up. Add this in mixing bowl.
Now shape it into balls.
That's it now it's time to taste....tasty right..!!

Melt ghee and set aside.


                    
In same pan take 1teaspoon of ghee and add cashews till it turns golden.

                   
In the same ghee roast raisins till it bubbles up.

                   
Take this in a mixing bowl.


Add in aval mix.



Add in ghee little by little.

You'll get coarse crumble mixture break the lumps formed.

                   
Shape into cute ladoos.

                  
Store it in airtight container.
