Kids friendly ragi cookies in pressure cooker

Hey friends this is another baking recipe in pressure cooker. I love to bake cookies that too this ragi cookies contains lots of health benefits.

Ragi is rich in iron and calcium. Ragi is a ideal food to wean a baby. Ragi is rich in protein and fiber so it's very filling. When you bake this whole house will be full of nice aroma.



This is one of my viewers requested recipe. So very happy now people started to ask me some recipes what they need its my pleasure to do it. It also encourages me in lot aspects to live in blogging. Thanks to my viewers.

Preparation time:5minutes.
Cooking time:15minutes.
Makes:12 cookies.

Ingredients:


  • Sprouted ragi flour 1cup(I used homemade sprouted ragi flour)
  • Whole wheat flour 1cup(I used homemade)
  • Melted butter or ghee 1/2 cup(I used homemade ghee)
  • Organic powder palm candy or powdered regular sugar 1/2cup+1/8cup


Method:


Preheat the pressure cooker in high flame for 10minutes.
In a mixing bowl,add in ragi flour,wheat flour and mix it well.
Add in powdered palm candy. Give a good mix.
Add in melted butter/ghee.
Mix it well and make a dough.
Roll it into balls and flattened it using your palm.
Repeat this and arrange in a greased pan or plate.
Bake this in preheated pressure cooker for 15minutes in a simmer flame.
Your cookies are ready.

Mix it well and form a dough.
Roll it to ball.

Arrange this in greased pan/plate.

Bake it in a preheated pressure cooker for 15minutes in simmer flame.
Or till its bottom turns darker.
Allow it to cool completely.
Healthy and yummy cookies ready☺

Notes:
Original recipes call for powdered regular sugar.As I made this as kids special I added powdered palm candy.
Sieve both ragi and wheat flour is must to get good result. I didn't sieve it because I used homemade flours which are already sieved.
Baking time depend on cooker which you are using.
