No bake biscuit pudding cake recipe

Sindhuraj     13:36:00     custard powder, dessert, no bake, snacks     No comments

Hello friends, I made no bake biscuit custard pudding cake as sunday special for last day's lunch. No bake desserts are in my to do list for long time. Once I saw this recipe in sharmis passion I get into action as I had everything in my pantry.

My daughter loved it so much even I too. Whole family loved it and none believed it was made with 5050 biscuit. It really tastes yum yum.

Hope you'll love it and give it a try also don't forget to share your experience with me. Feel free to comment.

Preparation time:5minutes.
Cooking time:10minutes.
Serves:3

Ingredients:

  • Custard powder 2.5 tablespoon
  • Milk 1.5cup
  • Sugar 1/4cup
  • Coffee decotion 3tablespoon
  • Sweet-salt biscuits (I used 50-50) 1pack
  • Chocolate shaves/chocolate sauce for garnishing

Method:

Take custard powder in a bowl and add in 1/4cup milk and mix well without lumps.
Boil remaining milk and sugar in sauce pan, once it starts to running boil add the custard mix and stir it well it becomes thick but pouring consistency. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool. It will become more thick. Take everything and start to arrange.
Dip 50-50biscuit in coffee decotion for 2seconds and arrange it in a plate. Now spread custard mix over it. Repeat this for
3layers. Now grate chocolate over the pudding or garnish as your wish.
Refrigerate for 2-3hours. Cut it to desired shapes and enjoy dessert with your loved ones immediately.

Stepwise pictures:
Take custard powder in a bowl.
Add in 1/4cup of milk and mix it well without any lumps.
Boil remaining milk and sugar in a saucepan.
Once it reach rolling boil switch to low-medium flame.
Add in custard milk and mix it well.
It will become thick but pouring consistency quickly. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
I used 5050 biscuits for this dessert.
Dip the biscuits in coffee decotion for 2 second.
Arrange it in a plate.
Spoon the custard mix over the biscuits.
Spread it evenly and arrange another layer by repeating the steps above.(dip in coffee decotion and arrange it.
I made 3 layers by repeating the steps given above.(dip the biscuits in coffee decotion and arrange it and spread custard mix repeatedly for 3layers)
As I don't have bar chocolate and chocolate sauce, used diary milk for garnishing.
Grate it over the pudding.
Grated all the chocolates.
Refrigerate it for 2-3hours.
Cut into desired shapes.
Serve it immediately.

Notes:
  • If you don't know to make filter coffee decotion, add 1.5teaspoon instant coffee powder to 1/4cup hot water. Use this as coffee decotion for this recipe.
  • I used vanilla flavoured custard. You can use any flavours.
  • You can use any sweet-salt biscuits like 50-50,krack jack.
  • You may have excess custard use for 2nd batch as I did.
  • I used 1/4cup milk from the 1.5cup milk itself.
  • As I don't have anything for garnishing used diary milk but soon I'll update this pics with fresh batch.
  • Refrigerating 2-3hours gives better results.
  • Don't make more layers it doesn't hold its shape.

Stay tuned for upcoming recipes. Bye bye.
