Atta ladoo/wheat flour ladoo recipe

Sindhuraj     17:56:00     gram dal, ladoo, snacks, wheat flour     1 comment

Hi friends, I made poha ladoos and wheat flour ladoos for evening snacks. Both ladoos tastes great and also healthy. My daughter loved both the ladoos. So happy she even loves healthy ones.

Wheat is rich in carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. It has good source of chlorophyll, which helps in blood purification. It is easy to digest. Natural laxative also high amount of digestive fibre which helps to prevent constipation.

Hope you'll love it and give it a try also don't forget to share your experience with me. Feel free to comment.

Preparation time:5minutes
Cooking time:15 minutes
Makes:7 ladoos

Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour 1/2cup
  • Roasted gram dal/pottu kadalai 1/4cup
  • Sugar/powdered jaggery 1/2cup
  • Cardamom powder 1/2teaspoon
  • Ghee 1/4cup
Method:
Take sugar and roasted gram in mixer jar and powder it.
Dry roast wheat flour for 10-15 minutes in low flame till it leaves raw smell.
Add in powdered roasted gram, sugar mix and roast it for 5 more minutes.
Add in ghee and stir it well till it gets mixed evenly. Add in cardamom powder and mix it well.
Take this in a mixing bowl and allow it to cool a bit and shape into ladoos when it becomes hand bearable heat, don't burn your hand like me.
Enjoy your snacks time.

Stepwise pictures:

Dry roast wheat flour for 10-15 minutes in low flame till it leaves raw smell.
Add in gram dal,sugar mix.
Roast it for 5more minutes in low flame.
Add in ghee.
Stir it well till it gets mixed evenly.(I couldn't mix well so changed to next size kadai.)
Add in cardamom powder and mix it well.
Take this in a mixing bowl and allow it to cool a bit and shape into ladoos when it becomes hand bearable heat, don't burn your hand like me.
Enjoy your evening snacks.

Notes:

  • I added sugar,if you need more healthy add in organic powdered jaggery.
  • I didn't add any dry fruits or nuts as my daughter don't like if something crunchy in center and starts to pick one by one instead of eating. If your kids love it just add it along ghee.
  • I have another version without gram dal will share that recipe too soon.

Stay tuned for upcoming recipes. Bye bye.
